Trogs

The Trogs are a communal people who inhabit the cavernous tunnels below the planet’s surface. Unaccustomed to organized leadership, they respond to crisis with either frenzied digging or paralyzed helplessness, their behavior reflecting a fragmented yet deeply ingrained instinct for survival. Their bare feet and sackcloth shifts mark them as a people tied to the earth and its rhythms, where survival often clashes with self-preservation. When hope dissipates, they retreat into terror, their collective panic manifesting in suffocating dust and collapsing rock.
