This consolidated entity covers references to an individual engineer/crewmember seen examining open panels ringed with scorch marks and isolinear chips as Yamato systems collapse, whose observations ground the sequence in procedural detail and whose recorded technical bafflement informs Captain Varley and propels the plot into efforts to secure or contain potentially disruptive Iconian technology.
