Genesis of the Daleks Part 4

When the Time Lord is sent to Skaro to prevent the creation of the Daleks, he faces a moral dilemma as he realizes that destroying them means condemning an entire race to annihilation in a war that has lasted a thousand years.

On Skaro, amidst a brutal thousand-year war between the Thals and the Kaleds, The Doctor arrives with Sarah and Harry, tasked by the Time Lords to prevent the rise of the Daleks. The Kaleds, mutated and entrenched in a sealed dome, are led by the ruthless scientist Davros, who accelerates their evolution into war machines. The Thals launch a rocket to destroy the Kaled dome, using information unwittingly provided by Davros, who seeks to eliminate any opposition to his Dalek project.

The Doctor, caught between his mission and his conscience, witnesses the devastating consequences of the Thal attack. Davros, unconcerned with his people's destruction, sets the Daleks on the Thals, programming them to exterminate, marking the beginning of the Daleks' reign of terror. Bettan, a Thal, seeks to resist the Daleks, while the Doctor aims to sabotage Davros' work, but first he must try to retrieve the Time Ring vital for himself and his companions to even leave Skaro.

Inside the Kaled bunker, dissent brews among the scientists, led by Gharman, who are appalled by Davros' amoral vision for the Daleks. They plot to subvert his plans, but their efforts are betrayed by Nyder, a loyalist to Davros, who exposes them, which sees Davros capture them to alter their minds to be rid of any sense of right or wrong, just as he wishes for the Daleks. Meanwhile, The Doctor, Sarah, and Harry sneak back into the bunker via the caves that exist beneath the surface of Skaro, but are soon captured by Davros who seeks to take any knowledge that The Doctor has about the Daleks future defeats to ensure their absolute domination.

The Doctor is subjected to interrogation and torture as Davros tries to extract information about the Daleks' defeats in the future. The Thals and mutos launch an attack on the bunker to create a diversion, hoping to disrupt Davros' plans. The Doctor, faced with a moral crisis, refuses to reveal the Daleks' weaknesses, understanding the grave consequences of his knowledge. Davros is furious and continues his plans for the new Dalek race, regardless of the cost.
