Two Faceless Observers in the expedition’s periphery, their ceremonial silence rooted in ritual caution rather than curiosity. Clad in nondescript field attire, they trail the survey team with measured pace, eyes tracking Scott and Kyle as they navigate the charged darkness of the underground passage. Their purpose remains purposefully ambiguous—neither guides nor hinderers, their presence registers merely as collective sentinels observing protocol rather than engaging directly. The tension of the fossil site’s cursed history doesn’t quicken their pulse; it simply demands witness.
