Androids open fire on Doctor and Peri

Peri and the Doctor attempt to barricade themselves in Jek’s headquarters as androids close in. The Doctor senses an opening in the programming he can exploit to disable an android but exposes himself to lethal danger. His bold gamble to disarm one of their attackers leaves Peri exposed, drawing Salateen’s attention. As androids breach the door the Doctor protects Peri by cutting power to a guard, arming her with a bypass plate moments before the androids open fire. The ambush wounds the Doctor and leaves him unconscious in the tunnels while Salateen drags Peri to safety, deepening the fracture between them. key_dialogue: [ PERI: Don't try it, Doctor.
