Kronos consumes the Doctor in final gambit

The Master completes his centuries-old obsession by summoning Kronos, the ancient temporal entity, through the crystal amplifier. As the white figure erupts from dimensional rift, the Doctor warns of universal annihilation but stands defiantly between it and his enemy. The Master, laughing in ecstatic madness, offers Kronos a Time Lord as its first prey—the Doctor himself. In a horrific instant the entity envelops the Doctor, his scream lost as his body dissolves into temporal energy, his annihilation creating the exact chaos the Master claims to embrace yet cannot control. The event neutralizes the Doctor’s direct opposition while awakening Kronos’s full power, destabilizing all of time around them and leaving Jo Grant to witness the irreversible collapse of their universe’s only protector.
