Automated Dalek Production Line (Including Core Shells)

A sprawling assembly of mechanized stations and conveyor belts within the Kaled laboratory, the automated Dalek production line remains functional even as Davros' authority crumbles. The production line encompasses both the mechanized assembly system and the empty Dalek armored casings (core shells) used for the conversion of conditioned Kaled subjects. Clamps and robotic arms maneuver over grounded Dalek casings, their hemispherical sensor domes already fully formed atop articulated neck stalks. The line’s rhythmic hum continues despite Davros’ shouted orders, each station sequentially applying biological and mechanical enhancements to conditioned Kaled subjects. The empty casings serve as blank metallic husks waiting surgical insertion of genetically conditioned Kaled mutations. Nyder’s attempt to halt the process triggers its emergency lock-down sequence, trapping Davros and forcing the Daleks to physically seize their creator. The production line becomes the stage for the final collapse of Davros’ dominance, its ceaseless automation outlasting his control.

Purpose

To automate the assembly and conversion of conditioned Kaled subjects into fully functional Dalek units, accelerating the project’s transition from biological experimentation to mass-produced extermination machines.

Significance

The production line embodies the irreversible momentum of the Dalek project, functioning independently of Davros’ personal authority once activated. Its resistance to shutdown symbolizes the Daleks’ successful claim of autonomy, rendering Davros obsolete. The line’s continued operation despite his orders marks the definitive failure of his vision and the birth of a new power structure.
