Scrape marks from boots and equipment trail across the lower panel where guards kicked it further ajar during the assault, and the frame bears fresh dent marks from repeated impacts. Stubbs pried it open earlier, leaving a bent metal wedge jutting from the gap with oxidized flecks of blue paint on the edges—relics of Skybase’s previous color scheme now flaking under pressure. The lock mechanism hangs crooked, its inner components sheared from the assault, leaving the door partially open but still constricting passage during the firefight. This door serves as both the main laboratory entry point and the controlled access point to Jaeger's hidden experiments.
