Object
Two-Seater Settee
A sturdy upholstered settee positioned near the cottage’s entrance, pressed into service as an improvised barricade. The Doctor, Scorby, Sarah, Chase, and Keeler shove its frame against the door to stem the Krynoid’s probing tendrils. The settee’s cushioned back and seat bear indentations from repeated repositioning, with faint soil smudges on the front edge where Scorby wedged it tight. Its wooden legs scrape the floorboards each time pressure pushes from the other side, rhythmically punctuating the standoff with the Krynoid outside. Fabric creaks and the wood frame bears the strain under the combined weight of its human barricaders.
