The vessel is deep-crimson with geometric gold filigree, its surface cool and smooth under Hepesh’s touch before Arcturus pivots and empties a compact ion disruptor into its base seam. A burst of crackling plasma vents from the rim, painting the delegates in strobing blue-white light and splintering the fired clay to glowing fragments.
