The reinforced mop transforms from janitorial tool into an ad hoc quarterstaff, its brass fittings glinting under the station’s sickly light as the Doctor wields it two-handed. He uses it to brace the shaft against the pterodactyl’s dive, repelling the creature long enough to regroup before retreating—though finally leaving it behind in the lift.
