Medok's Restraints

Coarse ropes used to bind Medok's wrists in two distinct but thematically linked contexts: (1) Immediately after the TARDIS crew subdues him in the countryside, where Ola orders the guards to tighten the restraints harshly, and (2) during his outburst in the colony, where Ola clamps the restraints to silence his warnings. The Doctor subtly adjusts the ropes looser in the first context to ease Medok's discomfort. The bindings serve as a narrative device to emphasize institutional control over dissent and the colony's denial of hidden horrors.
