Irongron continuously brandishes his Star-Axe throughout the confrontation, smashing it into wooden tables and doorframes to emphasize his demands and vent his aggression. The axe’s violent gouging into wood contrasts the chamber’s frayed tension, becoming a brutal extension of the warlord’s volatile authority more feared than wielded.

Irongron’s star-axe is sharpened on the grindstone throughout the interrogation, its presence and use heightening the threat against Hal. The axe itself comes to symbolize execution and Irongron’s brutality.

Irongron's star-axe is prominently displayed at his side during the event, emphasizing his power and brutality. Its absence from his hands reinforces his shift from physical intimidation to reliance on Linx's alien technology.

The headsman’s axe is held by Bloodaxe as a weapon of impending execution but never falls — its presence alone forces Hal into the rigged duel.
