Master asserts dominance in Galleia's chambers

Lakis brings two ornate goblets to the chamber, one of which Galleia offers to the Master as a ritualized gesture of trust and parity. Their ceremonial design and use in serving wine become symbolic tools for Galleia to feign equality and hospitality despite the Master’s overt dominance.

Before: Stored in the royal cellar or serving area, unused and polished, ready for state occasions.
After: Used to serve wine to both individuals; one cup remains in the Master’s hand as he ‘evaluates’ the arrangement, the other set aside for Galleia, reinforcing the pretense of shared ritual.
