The Control Centre of the Pyramid serves as its centralized command nexus, encompassing both the chamber's primary control infrastructure and the specific interactive interfaces that regulate its systems. The room's machines—including the panel with colored parallel lines (soft blues and greens pulsing in synchronization with Sutekh’s commands)—enforce Sutekh's malevolent agenda by gaslighting Marcus and Sarah into obedience. Every button and lever, including those on the panel's vertical colored lines, bends to his will, crushing any hope of resistance. This control centre was the site where Sutekh's victory seemed imminent, reducing the Doctor to a quivering corpse while Sarah bore witness.
