Farrel’s Betrayal and the Doctor’s Escape

The steering wheel of the coach becomes the focal point of the event as Farrel suddenly grabs it, wrenching the vehicle violently off course. This act of defiance—or malfunction—triggers a chain reaction of chaos, causing the coach to swerve down the little road, crash through the Research Station sign, and skid into a field. The Master’s retaliation involves a physical struggle for control of the wheel, culminating in Farrel being knocked unconscious. The steering wheel symbolizes the shifting power dynamics between the Master and his Auton pawns, as well as the Doctor’s opportunity to escape.

Before: Under the control of the Auton driver, guiding the coach along the little road as part of the Master’s plan to distribute the plastic daffodils.
