Doctor and Organon survive Creature attack

Organon picks up the skull candle holder and positions it beneath the Creature’s pseudopod, using the heat from the lit black candle to repel the creature. The skull’s heated metal causes the Creature’s membrane-like hide to recoil, offering a window into its alien physiology and enabling the Doctor’s observation about its possible cerebral structure.

Before: Placed among other dimly lit skull candle holders in Organon’s cave, holding a single guttering black candle, intact except for superficial cracks from years of use
After: Extinguished, returned to Organon’s possession, now bearing new cracks from pressure—its functional value revealed under duress as an impromptu weapon
