Mine Cart Bed

A narrow wooden platform with low metal rails, functioning as a crude bed or stretcher. Peri drags it across the rough miners' village streets, its plain frame and thin padding offering no comfort as the Doctor lies restrained upon it, his bound hands visible at its sides. The bed's plain construction contrasts with the ornate TARDIS cart to which it's incidental, yet becomes a symbol of the Doctor's humiliation as Peri forcibly moves him toward execution.

The crude wooden bed serves as a mobile platform for the Doctor, its thin padding and low rails now pressed into service as a restraint device. Peri shoves it roughly down the cobblestone street, each bump jolting the bound Doctor as wooden wheels creak and protest under the strain.

The crude wooden bed serves as both litter and weapon: Peri drags the squeaking frame through ruts and puddles, each bump jarring the bound Doctor closer to the pit. The planks groan under strain, threatening sudden collapse yet holding just long enough to deliver the last witness to the crime.
