Object
Cellar Light Switch
A utilitarian metal toggle switch screwed into the stone wall near the cellar’s ancient timber door. Its black Bakelite plate is scarred from decades of use, the ridges of the slider worn smooth under too many fingers. The switch controls a single bare bulb hanging from a frayed cord, its light casting long shadows across the portraits that line the stone walls.
