Doctor’s Freedom Note

A hastily scrawled sheet torn from Leonardo’s studio parchment, its reverse covered in the Doctor’s deliberate, mirrored script. The edges remain roughly cut where it was ripped away, while the obverse side shows faint smudges of ink the Doctor pressed too hard in haste. Tancredi finds it crumpled near the soldier’s discarded post and reads it aloud, exposing the Doctor’s plan to Leonardo; moments later Tancredi’s premature return crushes the ruse before it can buy the Doctor time to flee.
