Thawn's Gun Rack

A sturdy metal rack mounted along the control centre's bulkhead, its worn bolts and faint corrosion marking years of service in confined spaces. Sagging under the weight of rifles and sidearms, it holds Thawn's personally issued weapons—stocks polished from frequent handling, barrels clean but darkened by powder residue. Fenner retrieves a sidearm from its worn leather slots before Thawn's return, the dry rasp of metal on metal cutting through the tension of impending confrontation.
