The TARDIS Compression Equipment is covertly activated by the Doctor within or behind the Iron Maiden’s mechanisms. The device amplifies temporal energy to control and stiffen the ancient restraints, transforming them into an unwieldy trap for the Master’s impersonation of the king.

Before: A compact metallic device contained within the TARDIS, repurposed for extratemporal manipulation. Inactive and concealed otherwise.

After: Integrated into the Maiden’s structure by the Doctor, glowing faintly with alien energy as it hums ominously. Now effectively a temporal prison enhancement for the Master’s containment.
