K9's Jump Leads

Romana repurposes insulated jump leads originally drawn from emergency lounge equipment to bridge K9’s power interface to the matrix modulator. Though crudely clipped and visibly scorched from prior exposure to the Vraxoin laser, the leads successfully channel K9’s power, enabling the critical power boost needed to counter the smugglers’ transfer attempt.

The insulated braided jump leads, hastily repurposed emergency cables with red insulation and alligator clips, are clamped to K9’s ear-mounted power interface by Romana. The Doctor secures the other ends to the Matrix Modulator, creating a live electrical circuit that channels canine energy into the CET system, their crude connectors trembling with blue-white sparks as overvoltage courses through the system.

Romana rips the insulated jump leads from the lounge’s emergency gear and fastens their alligator clips to K9’s ear-mounted power interface while the Doctor secures the live connection with jerky efficiency. The crimson-jacketed cables transmit K9’s power directly into the CET machine’s matrix modulator, blazing with electrical arcing as the CET machine roars to life under forced demand.
