San Martino Medieval Balustrade

The stone balustrade looms along the edge of the medieval corridor where the Doctor flees, its ornate but weather-worn pillars connected by a waist-high stone rail. Fashioned from pale limestone blocks mortared with dark cement, its surface bears the grime of centuries and the scars of scattered foot traffic. The Doctor vaults it with practised ease, landing on the far side without losing momentum, demonstrating its inadequate height for a genuine barrier despite its imposing medieval architecture.
