Fruit Tray of Hospitality (Deva Loka)

A broad metal serving tray, initially arranged with earthenware cups and citrus slices by the Doctor and Adric as a gesture of cultural exchange in the Deva Loka forest clearing. Its polished surface and carefully placed melon and lemon wedges were meant to symbolize peace between the TARDIS crew and local inhabitants. The tray and its contents are abruptly abandoned when the awakened armored suit disrupts the encounter, leaving the once-ordered arrangement scattered on the uneven ground as a marker of failed diplomatic intentions.

A tray of fruit is brought into the forest by the Doctor and Adric, possibly intended as a gesture of connection with the environment or local inhabitants.
