Blanket and Pillow Bundle

A rough-textured blanket bunched loosely around Mawdryn’s burnt form, its edges frayed from emergency use, and a lumpy pillow positioned beneath his head to cushion what’s left of his frame. The pillow’s thin fabric offers no insulation against Mawdryn’s radiating heat; instead it absorbs droplets of condensation from the overheated air, the material never quite drying. Nyssa arranges these care items quickly, her touches deliberate, turning simple bedding into a provisional sickbed on the TARDIS floor.
