The cobblestones of Shad Thames become the alien’s final impact site. The Dalek’s plummeting form slams onto the uneven stones with a metallic crack, sending vibrations through the ground and igniting an explosion that scatters shrapnel across the Thames-side lane. Tegan’s blood seeps between the gaps shortly after.
