Viking Rune Stones (Crypt Inscriptions)

A set of nine dark slabs embedded in the crypt wall, each carved with angular Viking runes from the 9th century, serving as both an archaeological artifact and a cursed object linked to Fenric's prophecy. The stones feature deep inscriptions that catch lantern light in jagged shadows, with surfaces smoothed from centuries of touch but retaining sharp edges where carvings cut beneath. Originally identified by Doctor Judson, they were later revealed to match the Viking runic inscriptions at St. Jude's Church, forming a cohesive ancient warning system about the Curse of Fenric. Their physical connection to St. Jude's inscriptions comes through their shared Norse origin and supernatural significance rather than physical proximity.
