Doctor trapped beneath debris

The massive stone column, dislodged by an explosion, collapses onto the Doctor, pinning him immobile beneath tons of masonry. Its weight is such that Romana is physically unable to shift it alone, rendering the Doctor helpless and necessitating her departure to seek K9. The column's collapse is the inciting cause of physical entrapment and the immediate crisis.
