Steam Organ

A large, brass-trimmed steam-powered organ stands on the canal-side walkway, its polished copper pipes gleaming in the afternoon light. Steam hisses from its pressure valves as it plays 'Tulips from Amsterdam,' the hollow maroon notes cutting through the chaos of Omega's disintegration. Its owner, a small bespectacled man in a worn coat, keeps one hand on the console, adjusting valves and keys while watching the unfolding disaster with detached fascination.
