Doctor revives Peri for their escape
The small ceramic jug of water serves as a lifeline, its contents hurled over Peri’s face in a desperate attempt to jolt her back to lucidity. Plucked from the kitchen’s cool shadows, the water’s chill and sudden impact act as both medicine and stimulant, grounding her scattered senses just enough to register the Doctor’s voice and her own faltering capacity to stand.
Before:
Chilled ceramic vessel, stored in cool kitchen air, containing clear drinking water, originally intended for human use.
After:
Wet from rapid pouring, still in the Doctor’s possession as he pivots to direct Peri’s movement, droplets catching light as they drip onto the stone floor.
