Susringe Stone Parchment (Fraudulent Mine Map)

A brittle scrap of parchment, edges darkened from frequent unfolding and careful handling, used by Unstoffe as fabricated proof of the lost 'Susringe Stone' mine on Ribos. The parchment features crudely inked line-maps of imaginary tunnels, labeled 'jethrik seams,' and marked 'legendary pockets' of wealth. Its smudged ink, deliberate creases from repeated refolding, and exaggerated topography were crafted to deceive Graff Vynda-K during their negotiations. When Unstoffe presses the document into Graff’s grip, the parchment cracks along an old fold, immediately exposing the artifice—yet the damage does not diminish Graff’s eagerness to believe the fraudulent claim. The artifact embodies a last-minute narrative device in the heist, inflating the perceived value of jethrik stones and shifting power dynamics during the climax of Unstoffe’s con.
