Frazer's Torch

Frazer's torch provides the only light as they descend into the dark crypt, illuminating its chapel-like ornamentation. Robin hands it to Colin to share the burden but also perhaps to anchor his partner’s attention, making the object central to their immediate survival and Frazer’s fragile sense of control.

Frazer’s utilitarian torch is swiftly retrieved from its resting place as a tangible tool of defiance against the encroaching unknown. Its narrow beam slices through cryptic darkness, becoming both his only weapon of perception and the final human assertion of control before the antimatter predator’s presence renders light—and understanding—obsolete.

Frazer's torch provides the only artificial light in the flickering crypt, slicing through the ancient dark until it illuminates the newly appeared monument. When the antimatter predator fires its beam, the torch’s light vanishes abruptly, leaving Frazer momentarily sightless as the attack occurs. The torch becomes Stuart’s sole instrument of defiance and inquiry, gripped tightly as he transitions from rest to motion. Its beam slices through the crypt’s stale darkness, symbolizing both rational defense and futile rebellion against forces beyond human comprehension.

Stuart’s utilitarian torch serves as the sole source of human light in the creature’s shadowed emergence. Beaming across the monument—TARDIS hybrid, it briefly stabilizes the scene before failing under psychic or dimensional interference.
