The hijackers’ reinforced faceplates, designed to filter environmental toxins and resist breach, are targeted by the corrosive liquid. Their protective layers melt and warp in seconds, exposing Rudge, Atza, and Ortizo to the Vervoids’ merciless predation as their screams pierce the chaos.

Before: Intact and functional, worn by Rudge, Atza, and Ortizo as part of their hijacker uniforms.

After: Catastrophically destroyed, reduced to molten slag and failing to protect the wearers from the Vervoid assault.
