The Jasonite

A captured Nimon control device repurposed as a weapon. The Jasonite is wielded by Romana during the crumbling of Crinoth, its prongs modified for non-lethal disruption. A coiled metallic device with fine, pincer-like tips designed to interface with the Nimons' transdimensional tech, the Jasonite emits a muted hum when activated. Its modified prongs deliver sufficient electrical discharge to stun the parasitic Nimon hosts holding the Doctor captive. Romana's toss lands it precisely into Seth's outstretched hand, where human fingers struggle to navigate its alien interface—first jammed between prongs, then fired to unleash a sparking pulse.

The Jasonite device is tossed by Romana into Seth’s hands mid-crisis. When jammed between the prongs of the staff and fired, the Jasonite’s energy disables two Nimons. Its alien interface momentarily resists human handling, but ultimately channels the critical disabling pulse.

Seth joins Romana to strike against Nimons

Romana tosses the Jasonite—a repurposed Nimon control device modified with prongs and Jasonite crystals—to Seth. She instructs him to jam it between the prongs and shoot. When Seth fires, the weapon discharges a pulse that stuns the Nimons, briefly disabling their hold on the space-time tunnel. The device is then destroyed by a retaliatory Nimon blast.

Before: Held by Romana, recently modified to discharge a stunning pulse. Its prongs are splayed and ready for activation.
After: Destroyed after delivering the stun. No longer functional, left on the floor as Seth collapses.
