Sevateem Ritual Gong
A large metallic gong suspended from a carved wooden frame, its surface etched with tribal sigils of the Sevateem. Though Suskin dismisses it as primitive superstition, its deep resonant clang pierces the night when struck by a wooden mallet. The sound serves as both tribal summons and predator alarm—a signal that cuts through the forest’s silence and exposes the creeping terror now stalking the settlement. Leela and the Doctor initially misread its purpose, but its second strike forces them to abandon diplomacy for survival.
