A jagged sandstone chunk, clenched-fist-sized, with white quartz veins streaked through reddish-brown matrix. Its coarse texture leaves pale grit on palms and catches dim light as Ace swings it toward the Cheetah’s flank during the survivors’ reckless provocation. After skimming past the creature’s hide, the rock is kicked aside by the rider’s backhand and abandoned in churned dirt where Ace later falls, its dust-blurred form sprinkled with disturbed earth.
