Balcony

A narrow stone ledge supported by ornate iron brackets that projects from the upper level of a half-collapsed building in Castrovalva’s public square. The balcony’s surface appears uneven, cracked along one edge where the town’s recursive geometry twists space. As Castrovalva collapses, the balconies invert and realign midair, forcing the fleeing companions to dodge both right-side-up and upside-down projections. Mergrave glances at one before sprinting away, warning the Doctor of the town’s breaches. Adric spots a safer route high above, defying the shifting architecture despite the risk of falling debris.
