The Communications Room's central console features a secondary terminal with intentionally altered displays and scorch marks. Mel identifies these as tampering from a Mogarian trap—small explosive damage that obscures forensic evidence and embeds trace minerals. The altered interface and corrupted readouts deliberately sabotage Rudge's digital fingerprints while embedding false mineral trace data, forcing Mel to decode the intentional corruption to recognize the true purpose of the trap before Vervoids advance. Used as a central hub for emergency communication and system monitoring during crises.
