A thick, flexible rubber hose coiled near the water reclamation units in the End Zone, its rubberized exterior darkened with mineral stains from repeated use. The nozzle end is brass-plated and slightly corroded, its valve handle stiff from disuse. A slave wields it with practiced motions, directing a forceful jet to rinse the contaminated residue from Sil’s containment chamber after the Doctor’s field sterilization contaminates the area with compressed water.
