Placed Explosives
A bundle of plastic explosives the Doctor and Leela rig with crude wiring and timed detonation, affixed to the lamp room ceiling. The devices are small dark cylinders wrapped in matt-black tape, their wiring snaking toward a handmade trigger mechanism the Doctor clutches in his palm. When Leela gives the nod they jointly activate the sequence, and the confined space erupts in a thunderclap of light and collapsing metal as the Rutan scout is sheared apart mid‐air.
