The gnarled branch, torn from the roadside, becomes the instrument of murder. Shockeye swings it with precise, brutal motion to strike the driver’s skull, silencing him instantly. The wood’s roughness accents the savagery of the act, and blood spatters its fibers as the body collapses. The branch is discarded after the murder.

Before: Dry, detached wood fragment lying on the roadside verge before being snatched by Shockeye.

After: Bloodied weapon, discarded after use; no longer in Shockeye’s hand.
