A utilitarian communications device used for interaction between Merdeen and Drathro's command center. The box is roughly the size of a small briefcase with a worn metal casing and a single unmarked power button. While activated by Merdeen in some contexts and used from a standing height by Drathro's interlocutors in others, both devices serve as the sole channel for communication with Drathro's isolated command center. The Doctor recognizes its function as a direct channel to Drathro despite its unadorned appearance.
