Hunt Saboteur's Tinned Cat Food

A dented metal tin clutched by the Doctor in the Medway Parade home of Ace's friend. Its label shows faded blue script reading 'Kit-e-Kat' with a picture of a cat beneath a headline that reads 'UTTERLY PALATABLE'. The Doctor shakes it rhythmically to startle local wildlife into revealing their hunters, using its metallic rattles as an unconventional tool to expose the presence of an intelligent predator stalking Perivale. The can's contents are used both as bait (released strategically behind gardens or on parade grounds) and as a sound source (rattled or clinked with a spoon) to flush out hidden threats. The Doctor's manipulation of the can transforms it into a critical narrative device, exploited for its metallic clinks to reveal the town's unnatural decay and the deliberate hunting pattern of the unseen adversary. The pull-tab is partially bent from repeated use, and its weight shifts noticeably in the Doctor's hand as he moves between scenes.
