The Corvum Omen

A solitary crow with obsidian-black feathers lands on standing stones only to become a harbinger of ritual corruption. Romana first marks it as an evil portent during the academic survey, her scholarly detachment collapsing as the bird’s presence curdles the air with supernatural dread. Its wings cast no audible beats, yet each descent feels like a gong tolling before lethal incantations. Both seekers and acolytes treat its arrival as ritual punctuation—announcing the closing of one hunt and the opening of another.
