Rollright Stones Megaliths

Five prehistoric sarsen stones rise from the grass, their surfaces etched by centuries of moss and rain, tilting slightly as if pulled toward a buried force. The tallest monolith bears faint gouges—the remnants of an Ogri’s destructive passage through the circle. Nearby, chalky soil darkens at the base of one stone where the Megara’s earlier attempt to stop the Ogri left a dusting of congealed matter. Romana steps carefully between the stones, her boots displacing dry earth as she decodes their alignment.
