Flight Deck Side Room

A narrow enclosed space off the main flight deck, partially concealed by bulkheads and emergency lighting. The room contains vital ship systems—dormant power reserves and environmental controls—that Romana and the Doctor briefly inspect for escape potential. Its compact dimensions force the two into close quarters, their shoulders nearly touching as they examine readouts. A rhythmic, mechanical pulse vibrates through its metal walls, the sound unsettlingly organic and alien, cutting off their moment of hope with dread.
