Gas Release Control Box

A compact black metal box with a single red activation switch. The Doctor palms it as he enters the bathhouse, its weight familiar in his grip. The Rani never notices its presence, distracted by the miners, but the box's purpose becomes clear when the Doctor triggers it—hissing gas erupts from the floor grates, filling the chamber. Two miners collapse silently, their unconsciousness both immediate and complete.
