Mel and Ace's Hazardous Metal Stairs

The steep metal stairs in the lower levels of the frozen outpost glare dully under emergency lighting, their treads worn smooth from use but still slick with ice. When Mel slips on the icy surface, the harsh metallic clang of her body meeting the steps punctuates the chaos as zombies close in. The stairs slope sharply toward the hatchway where Ace has positioned herself, forcing stragglers downward into Kane's waiting forces while leaving attackers vulnerable to Ace's improvised explosives tossed from above.
