Concealed Mona Lisa Wooden Panels
Six rough-hewn oak panels hastily crafted as a temporal distraction. Their surfaces bear muted umber and ochre paint mimicking Leonardo’s studio, deliberately left blank to approximate the Mona Lisa’s proportions. Each panel splinters along hastily drilled frames, and the Doctor’s bold inscription—'This Is A Fake'—slashed across the front transforms them into props meant to mislead Tancredi during a staged escape in the Parisian art studio. Their rough edges and unrefined surfaces underscore the urgency of the Doctor’s deception.
